A maior premiação do mundo da música é o Grammy, que está chegando na sua 64ª edição, prevista para acontecer no dia 31 de janeiro e premiar os maiores destaques de 2021. Bom, isso era o esperado até o momento.

De acordo com fontes consultadas pela Billboard, a premiação deve ser adiada por conta da alta de casos de covid-19 nos Estados Unidos, causadas pelo avanço da variante Omicrôn, além da estagnação da campanha de vacinação.

Vale lembrar que a academia ainda não se pronunciou oficialmente sobre o caso, nem manifestou a possibilidade. Caso o adiamento realmente ocorra, será o segundo ano consecutivo em que o Grammy é adiado.

O Grammy 2022 será apresentado por Trevor Noah, e no Brasil, será transmitido pelo canal fechado TNT, a casa das premiações no país.
